Refund & Cancellation Policy

LocateServe LLC provides time-sensitive legal /support services, including process serving, skip tracing, mobile notary services, and court filing assistance. Due to the nature of these services, refunds are limited and subject to the terms below.

General Policy

All payments are considered earned once work on a request has begun. By submitting an order and payment through our website, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Process Serving Services

• No refunds are issued once a service request has been assigned, an attempt has been made, or preparation work has begun.
• If a request is cancelled before any attempts or assignment, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion, less any administrative or processing fees.

Skip Tracing Services

• Skip tracing fees are non-refundable once research has begun.
• Results are based on available lawful data sources and cannot be guaranteed.

Mobile Notary Services

• No refunds are issued once travel has begun or a notary has been dispatched.
• Cancellations made prior to dispatch may be eligible for a partial refund, minus administrative fees.

Court Filing & Document Retrieval

• Service fees are non-refundable once courthouse travel, filing, or retrieval work has begun.
• Court fees, clerk fees, and copy fees paid to third parties are non-refundable.

Third-Party Fees

Any fees paid to courts, clerks, notaries, or other third parties are not refundable under any circumstances.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact LocateServe directly to resolve billing questions. Unjustified chargebacks may result in service refusal and documentation being provided to the payment processor.
