Pricing & Billing FAQs
A few quick answers to common questions about rates, attempts, and refunds.
-
Do you charge per defendant or per address? Each named defendant / party at each address is billed as its own service. If you have multiple defendants or multiple addresses, we’ll outline that clearly in your quote or invoice.
-
Are your fees refundable if the person cannot be served?Service fees cover the attempts, travel, and documentation — not the outcome. If all attempts are exhausted and the party cannot be located or served, you’ll receive a detailed non-service report that can be used for motions or further action.
-
When is payment due?For most clients, payment is required up front before attempts begin. Ongoing relationships with firms or agencies may qualify for invoicing terms.
-
How do I know if I need Rush, Same-Day, or Priority? If you’re working against a near deadline, a hearing date, or a last-minute court order, Rush or Same-Day typically makes sense. Priority is reserved for truly urgent, “move now” situations. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll recommend the right option.
-
Can you quote complex or high-volume work?Yes. If you have bulk service, recurring work, or complex cases that don’t fit standard pricing, we’re happy to provide a custom quote based on volume and mileage.
